FISHING

The barramundi fishing in the Koolatong River (buffalo camp) is excellent. The barramundi is related to the Nile Perch. The average size we catch is from 6 to 15lb however, specimens up to 30lb have been caught by our clients.

Fishing method is trolling, casting or fly-fishing.

Other species available in the river in front of camp include saratoga and sooty grunter (bream).

We supply fishing gear and lures, however if you are a fly fisherman you will have to bring your own gear.
