BANTENG

We hold one of the only 2 licenses issued to hunt banteng in their wild and free state in the world.

This herd is situated on Cobourg Peninsula. The banteng lives in the semi tropical woodlands and with its acute senses offers a challenge to the skilful hunter.

The banteng is endangered in its natural habitat in SE Asia.

Cobourg has the only free-range herd in the world that can be legally hunted, with a herd population estimated at 5,500 to 7,000.Once again we have a history of excellent trophy animals taken. Areas are accessed by road and then on foot.

Weapons — Calibre preferred are .338 or larger and soft point ammunition.
